Get ready for ski season and put your unique stamp on your winter wardrobe by knitting your very own hat! In this two-part class, you’ll learn the basics of knitting in the round, shaping a hat, and finishing it off with a handmade pompom. Plus, you’ll gain experience reading and following a knitting pattern and reading yarn labels. Perfect for holiday gifting (or keeping for yourself)!

Class 1:

  • Cast on and get started

  • Knit the brim

  • Begin working the body of the hat

Class 2:

  • Finish knitting the body

  • Learn how to taper the top

  • Make your own pompom (optional, if you prefer a beanie style hat)

By the end of this workshop, you’ll have the skills (and the hat!) to keep cozy all season long.
